Eggy Thread Gallery 1.0.6 introduces gallery cover images for Image Threads.

Thread owners and moderators can select any gallery image as the thread cover, with automatic fallback to the first available image when no custom cover is selected.

Gallery covers can also be displayed directly in forum thread lists, with new ACP controls for enabling the feature and configuring thumbnail dimensions.

A new Post image action has also been added to the Gallery view, allowing members to add new images directly through the existing XenForo discussion reply system.

Eggy Thread Gallery 1.0.5 includes improvements based on user feedback, along with a fix for the reported pagination issue.

Following a customer suggestion, this update adds more control over gallery access with a dedicated viewing permission and introduces an option to reverse the image order shown in the main gallery.

Existing gallery features and behaviour remain intact.

This release introduces a user requested pagination feature for Thread Gallery.

Administrators can now control how many images are displayed on each gallery page directly from the ACP. For example, the gallery can be set to show 50, 100, 250, 500 or any custom value between 1 and 1000 images per page.

When a thread contains more images than the configured limit, Thread Gallery automatically adds pagination. For example, with the ACP limit set to 100, a thread containing 102 images will display 100 images on the first page and the remaining 2 images on the second page.

This is particularly useful for larger forums and image heavy threads, as it avoids loading the entire gallery on a single page and gives administrators control over the balance between gallery size and performance.

Emergency hotfix for an attachment handling issue found in Eggy Thread Gallery 1.0.3.

This update was released after reports that non image attachments such as PDF, Word and Excel files could disappear from thread posts while Thread Gallery was enabled.

The attachment handling has now been corrected so Eggy Thread Gallery only affects image attachments where appropriate. PDF, DOCX, XLSX, ZIP and other normal XenForo attachments are left under XenForo’s native attachment system and remain visible whether the Hide native images option is enabled or disabled.

Hide native images now does exactly what it is intended to do. When enabled, only native image attachment thumbnails are hidden from the post while those images remain available inside Thread Gallery. Inline post images are not affected.

Compatibility is now handled automatically from the installed XenForo version, with the active compatibility profile shown clearly in the ACP.
